Welcome To
The Wall Street
FAST Track Program

The Wall Street Finance & Scholastic Training Track ("FAST Track") Programis a rigorous school-to-work initiative started in November 1996 by the New York Chapter of the National Association of Securities Professionals (NASP-NY).

Purpose:

  •    To identify and expose 10th and 11th grade inner city high school students to the  world of  high-finance.
  •    To provide mentoring, skill development, and career building options
  •    To reach students early enough in their academic careers that they will have time to alter their curriculum choices if they choose to pursue the study of a finance-related field in college
    Student Selection Process
  • We seek applicants with the following qualifications -
  • Participants must possess at least a "B" average
  • Participants must demonstrate an interest in math, economics or finance.
The FAST Track Curriculum consists of interactions with industry leaders, group projects, individual homework assignments, a six-month investment game competition and on-going contact with volunteer mentors.
