of school children get a homework assignment on the last day of school
before the Winter break. They have to do a report on some strange holiday
called Kwanzaa. They are not at all pleased by all of this because they
feel it will interfere with their time off from school.
As two of the children
are working on their Kwanzaa report, they fall asleep and each share the
same amazing dream. They see themselves and their classmates answering
questions about Kwanzaa, performing songs about the Kwanzaa principles
and explaining the meaning of the Kwanzaa symbols.
